• To provide quality, individualised educational support for students
• Child-centred approach focused on assisting the child in reaching his or her potential
• Using innovative and carefully selected modes of teaching to enhance the learning experience
• Using support educational techniques to optimise teaching and learning
• Provide a friendly and relaxed learning environment while ensuring that educational goals are exceeded
How do we do this?
• Tutors are selected on merit of their experience, educational backgrounds and personalities
• Careful selection of learning materials to meet the demands of the CAPS and Cambridge curricula
• Relaxed but educationally stimulating learning environment
• Small groups and individual attention
• Additional support to students with special educational needs, such as students with ADHD, high functioning Autism or those with identified barriers to learning, such as reading or spelling problems
• Referral to additional support when needed, such as Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Play Therapy and so on
• Extra mural activities include young engineers for the primary school students.
• We offer afternoon supervision for students who cannot be fetched early. Extra activities will be done with students in particular areas they may need help with, as well as stimulating games.
